Dinamica EGO 2.2 Release Notes

The current Dinamica EGO version is not compatible with Windows XP. All other recent versions of the Windows operating system (Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 R2) are supported.

The Vensim link was definitely removed. If you are using Calc Transition Matrix Using Vensim as part of our models, you should keep using version 2.0.10 of Dinamica EGO.

Some deprecated functors were removed in this release:

• Calc Transition Matrix Using Vensim,
• Number Path,
• Path,
• Number Vensim Category Variable Set,
• Number Vensim Transition Variable Matrix,
• Select Path,
• Select Vensim Category Variable Set,
• Select Vensim Transition Variable Matrix,
• Vensim Category Variable Set and
• Vensim Transition Variable Matrix.

None of these functors has a replacement in the new version of Dinamica, but they are all related to Vensim link. Unless you are using the Vensim link, your models should not be affected.

Some operators were changed:

• Calc Areas,
• Calc Distance To Feature Map,
• Calc Reciprocal Similarity Map,
• Calculate Categorical Map,
• Calculate Lookup Table,
• Calculate Map,
• Calculate Value,
• Determine Weights of Evidence Coefficients,
• Determine Weights of Evidence Correlation,
• Extract Map Attributes,
• Extract Map Layer,
• For Each,
• Insert Map Layer,
• Load Categorical Map and
• Load Map.

The proxy functor system automatically converts models using the old functor representation to its newest counterparts. The conversion is correct but might not be optional.

The current version of Dinamica EGO no longer accepts Muxes to be placed inside container functors that are NOT loop controlers.

Unfortunately, when Muxes are placed inside such containers, they become meanless because they will always use the value from its initialization port and ignore the content from their feedback ports.
